Angri-La is a remote settlement hidden away in the mountains of Erdrea, in which ascetic monks hone their bodies through rigorous training to reach enlightenment.
Story[]
Rise of the Lord of Shadows[]
The Luminary and Hendrik arrive hoping that the place has a connection to the Luminary of old while surprised that the place is still intact. They are nearly attacked by the monks of the temple until the High Lama stops them. He notices the power of the Luminary, apologises for his disciples actions and invites them to join him in the high hall.
In the high hall they explain how they knew of the Luminary since his birth. Apparently he was supposed to train with Grand Master Pang for six years if Dundrasil hadn't been invaded by dark forces. Grand Master Pang also protected the temple with a great mandala but lost her life in the process. The Luminary is taken to the field of discipline while learning of the first Luminary, Erdwin and his first ally Morcant. The High Lama hopes that the Luminary would train in the footsteps of his ancestors including that of Rab. The High Lama notes the Luminary's worry for Rab's being and tells him there is no need to worry.
The next day after a modest feast, word gets out that a hermit that visited two weeks ago hadn't been heard from. The monks are unable to get into contact with him due to the monster population. Hendrik and the Luminary agree to escort the High Lama to the hermit who is later revealed to be Rab.
After Rab and the Luminary have recovered from their ordeal, they decide to head off together and find the others while heading for Arboria.
In Search of Lost Time[]
Since Yggdrasil didn't fall in this timeline, Grand Master Pang still lived. She feels a connection with the Luminary and accepts him as a disciple. She gives him permission to partake in the Wheel of Harma. She also spanks Rab for still having women's magazines.
