Biography[]
Fifty years prior, it seemed that the Elf princess, Rita, a child with the power to communicate with the Holy Land, the source of power of Eltona, had lost her mind and murdered both her father and her mother, Queen Agushuna, leaving only her younger brother alive. Now an adult, King Nikoroi, having been left in dark all his life by his elders about those tragic events, sought to undestand what had actually happened, and after seeing a some spectral memories of that day at the old abbandoned palace, he asked Kyuusuke and the Hero, to retrive the Darktree leaf for him, as that was the last request of his mother.
When he used it, Queen Agushuna reappeared before him, having only been sealed away and not killed by Rita. She asked the group to accompany her to check on the Holy Land, to check on its status after Rita had supposedly drained its powers.
Once there however, the queen revealed her true identity as Aragune: the truth was that, fifty years before, the sickly queen had been steadily weakned and then finally killed and substituted by the evil spider. Being the sensitive child that she was, Rita had sensed that something was up, and when Aragune killed the king, in order to steal the ring necessary to enter the Holy Land, Rita used all of her power to seal away her, losing her life in the process.
Now freed, Aragune revealed her true intentions, and tried to kill Nikoroi, Kyuusuke and the Hero, before completely drain the power of the Holy Land for herself and plunge Eltona into despair. However, the Hero was able to defeat her in a long, arduous battle. With the death of Aragune, Rita's soul, who had taken the form of a big white tree in order to block the powers of the Holy Land from Aragune's reach, was now free to drop her defences, and let once again the powers of the Holy Land reach throughtout the continent of Eltona, passing away in the afterlife in peace, after having asked to pass a message to her brother, unaware of the identity of the old man before her.
Aragune can be fought again as many times as the player desires in her Fire Coliseum's rematch battle. She is a bit stronger than her original battle and she is accompanied by two general mechs. If the party has defeated them, Aragune can summon another batch of general mechs ad infinitum.
