Arcadia is a town in Dragon Quest VIII. It is the home of Dominico and his servant David.
Synopsis[]
Arcadia is visited by the heroes after Dhoulmagus is killed and Jessica Albert goes missing. The local wizard, Dominico, fends her off as David tends to his needs. It becomes apparent that David is the next descendant that Dhoulmagus was going after and now Jessica is intent on killing. The party fend her off long enough for Dominco to repel her with his barrier.
After Jessica wakes up and explains how a being named Rhapthorne was possessing her. The party finds David being killed by Dominico's dog, Sir Leopold. Afterward, Dominico awakens Jessica's magical abilities and she rejoins the party.
