Arondight Heights is a location in Dragon Quest Swords. It is the primary location of Chapter 3.

Geography

A mountainous region in central Avalonia, Arondight Heights has a lookout points with an excellent view of the country's tallest mountain, on which is carved a massive tableau depicting the defeat of Xiphos the Deathbringer by four adventurers a number of years ago. Although there are multiple forks within the path up the mountain, only 1 leads to the summit.

Plot

Fleurette visited it when she was a child, and after encountering the Hero and Anlace believes that it may be a clue. She therefore leads him to the viewpoint, where they encounter and are able to defeat the Emissary of Xiphos. After being shown the tableau, the Hero begins to draw conclusions about what happened previously with Xiphos and what may be going on with Queen Curtana and the Rorrim Mask presently.

Boss

The Emissary of Xiphos is the boss of this location. If the level is replayed, an Envoy of Xiphos is the boss with the exact shape and patterns as the Emissary before it.
