Avalonia is the setting of Dragon Quest Swords. Sovereigned by Queen Curtana from Castle Avalonia, this large island is comprised of the following locations:
- Arondight Heights
- Caliburn Cave
- Deathbringer's Citadel
- Galantyne Glades
- Mirror World
- Northern Plains
- Red Sea
- Secace Seacove
- Tower of Mirrors
Avalonia is also connected to the pocket dimension known as the Mirror World, accessed thanks to the use of the Rorrim Mask, an artifact ailing from the Mirror World, as well as certain magical mirrors such as the one found at the top of the Tower of Mirrors.
