The Beast talon (Monster slashers in DQXI) are a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series.
Appearance[]
Dragon Quest VIII 3DS[]
Only appearing in the 3DS remake, they can be equipped by Morrie, increasing his attack by +95 while also dealing 160% damage to beasts. They are created by combining the Beast claws with an Ethereal Stone.
Dragon Quest X[]
Making their debut, they can be equipped from level 60 onwards, having a base ATK of +43, while also dealing 10% more damage to beast monsters and having a 3% chance of charming them. In the Offline version of the game, they can be equipped by the Hero in the Martial Artist and Thief vocations and Mjoll.
