The Birth Arc (誕生の章) is the first arc of The Adventure of Dai. It starts with the Fake Heroes incident and ends when Dai leaves Dermline Island. The title was reused for the VHS release of the first 8 episodes of the 1991 series.
In the 2020 edition, it was fused with the Gathering Arc and the Clash Arc into a Disciples of Avan saga.
Its publication corresponds to the original one-shots and minimal serialisation before it was renewed.
