Dragon Quest XI[]

A single black dragon gives chase during the escape from Heliodor Sewers in Act I. The player must outrun it to proceed with the story. If not then you can fight it at a higher level which you can get from switching from different modes (i.e. 2D to 3D) which can be done at a Church in the Definitive Edition version only then after that you can fight the Black Dragon to get a special cutscene resulting in Erik getting shocked at you and saying, 'Maybe you really are The Luminary?' and it is an optional fight in Act II. More may be fought in the caves of Pang Lai.
