Dragon Quest V Remakes[]
Only appearing in the remakes, it is used by Conkuistadors, which always fails.
Dragon Quest VII[]
Making its debut, it is learned when players reach Rank 8 of the Champion vocation and deals 600 to 700 damage for 20 MP, making it useful against bosses like the true final battle with Orgodemir. It is also used by Conkuistadors and The Mighty Pip, which always fails. In the 3DS remake, it now deals 500~600 damage that ignores defence and any other damage reduction factors such as Defending Champion, while also being able to hurt Metal slime monsters. Further more, the damage will increase by 50% if the practitioner is equipped with a weapon that's more effective against the target's monster family, like Dragons. It is also used by Kernel colonels and Nut knights in battle, but while the latter may fail, the former is very dangerous with the power.
Dragon Quest X[]
Reappearing from the latter half of 4.5 onwards, it is learned when 200 skill points are invested into the Sword skill tree and can hit an enemy for 5 times the damage of a normal attack, all while costing 8 MP. However, the CT is pretty lengthy. In the Offline version of the game, it is a Coup de Grâce learned by investing 20 skill points in the Hero and Hussar's Sword skill trees after their 4th expansion, as well as Anlucia's Justice skill tree, costing 75% Tension to use.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Reappearing in the main series after a long absence (While later versions of X were in development), it is learned by the Luminary when 36 skill points are invested into his Swordmastery Character Builder. It costs 48 MP to use, and will deal up to 680~720 non-elemental damage to one enemy. However, Metal slime monsters are not affected by it for the first time since the original PS1 version of VII. It is also used by Mordegon when he has the Luminary's power.
Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Appears as Cesar's Coup de Grâce.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Dragon Quest of the Stars[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it's the skill for Okeanos sword and its evolution.
Dragon Quest: Scan Battlers[]
Appears as a spell for Okeanos sword.
Dragon Quest Tact[]
Learned by Anlucia at level 52, it acts the same as in previous appearances and costs 70 MP to use.
Dragon Quest Treasures[]
Learned by Red giants, it deals physical light damage to all enemies in range and costs 12 MP to use.
