Bloody Scryde is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series. It is a powerful energy stab that could pierce through his targets by the time he graduated from Avan.
Description[]
A technique created by Hyunckel to kill Avan as a response for teaching him in the arts of Avan Style Sword Techniques and is said to to rival out of the Avan Strash. The user creates a powerful tunneling piercing strike through the use of a sword or spear by concentrating dark energy on it. Its power is great enough to pierce Hadlar and even orichalcum.
As revealed in the prequel manga, Bloody Scryde originally was a technique used by Bartos, Hyunckel adoptive father, which he used during his fight against Avan; presumably, Hyunckel, having received basic sword training from Bartos, and having seen and experienced a non-lethal version of Bloody Scryde on himself, would later further refine and perfected the skill as another memento from his lost parent.
