Dragon Quest Wiki

Body Press is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest VIII[]

Making its debut, it is used by Heligators, Darkodiles, and Crocodogs in battle against their enemies, dealing non-elemental damage that can only be reduced by defending.

Dragon Quest X[]

While acting the same as in VIII, it is used by Killer gilas, Salamander fries, Axolotls, the Leaf Spirit, Mashouu, Ferne the Hunter, Forest Guardian, Cast iron statue, the Demon alligator, and Magatsukaze, as well as Heligators and Crocodogs once again, however the effects vary between monsters. (Ie, dealing more damage than a normal attack, causing a lot of physical damage while knocking back enemies, etc)

Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]

Reappearing from Battle Road II onwards, it is the Metal slime knight's third skill when paired up with the player in the Gladiator vocation, replacing its Slime Knight Strike, damaging one enemy while potentially landing a critical hit, while the Stone guardian's version seen in Battle Road Victory attacks all enemies in battle. It is also used when combing Slime knight's Bang spell and Khalamari kid's Play skill.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]

Dragon Quest of the Stars[]

Dragon Quest Tact[]

Learned by Heligators at level 42, it inflicts 175% damage to all enemies in range and costs 49 MP to use.

Dragon Quest Treasures[]

Known as Bellyflop, it is learned by Hoodlums and Cyber bullies and acts the same as in previous appearances, costing 2 MP to use.
