Burrowell is a city located in southeastern Torland in Dragon Quest II. Despite appearing on the world map, the city located almost entirely underground.
Entrance[]
In order to enter Burrowell, the heroes must possess the Golden key to open the door which leads down to the city.
Overview[]
Burrowell holds many critical items from completing the game. The armor shop also sells the best equipment which can be purchased in Dragon Quest II.
Jailers Key[]
The Jailor's key can be purchased in Burrowell at the item shop. Within the list of items for sale is a blank line where an item would normally appear. Selecting this line will trigger the shop keeper to sell the key. This is hinted by a townsperson within Burrowell.
Floodgate Key[]
The Floodgate key is also located in Burrowell. Using the Jailor's key to open a prison cell in one of the buildings. The heroes find a hidden passage way at the back of the cell. Within the passage way, the heroes find Rogue Fastfinger who gives them the key.
