Dragon Quest VIII 3DS[]
Only appearing in the 3DS remake, it is learned by Morrie for 22 skill points in his Claw skill tree and can deal heavy damage to Machine and Material family monsters, costing 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest IX[]
Making its debut, this ability is learned when 13 skill points are allocated into the Claw skill tree and costs 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X[]
Once again learned when 13 skill points are allocated into the Claw skill tree, it causes 2.0 times the damage of the first shot of the normal attack, and 3.0 times the damage on Machine monsters. It costs 1 MP to use, and can also be learned by investing 7 skill points into the Claw skill trees of recruited Great sabrecats, Jailcats, Mecha-mynahs, and Small fries, while the skill can be strengthened by investing 43 skill points after the 11th reincarnation. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 3 skill points into the Hero and Mjoll's Claw skill trees, but costs 2 MP to use unlike the original Online game.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Learned by investing 9 skill points into Jade's Claws Character Builder and 8 skill points into Rab's Claws Character Builder, it acts the same as in previous appearances once again and costs 4 MP to use.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances, it is exclusive to various D-rank Claw weapons.
Dragon Quest Walk[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned at level 10 when wielding the Overkilling machine claws, level 15 when wielding the Claws of black storm and Claws of the Underworld Beast weapons, and level 20 when wielding the Crystal claws, Panther claws, and Yellow dragon claws weapons, costing 12 MP to use. It is also learned by recruited Bewarewolves at level 50 and recruited King slimes at level 30, costing 20 MP to use.
