Making its debut, it is learned when 13 skill points are invested into the Spear skill tree and costs 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X[]
Learned by investing 7 skill points into the Spear skill tree, it acts the same as in IX and costs 1 MP to use. The motion is different in this entry, poking beast monsters down from the upper position. It can also be enhanced with the Master Orb system from Version 3 onwards.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Learned by investing 3 skill points into Serena and Jade's Spears Character Builder, it acts the same as in previous appearances and costs 2 MP to use. The motion of the attack in the normal 3D mode of the game is the same as in X, though in the 2D mode, it has the simple piercing effect.
