Chain Attack is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances[]

Dragon Warrior Monsters[]

Making its debut, it is learned by Killing machines, Skeleton swordsmen, Gripevines, Orochi, Marquis de Léon, Estark, Psaro the Manslayer, and Jamirus at level 20, attacking one enemy twice in one turn, with each hit dealing 75% damage. It costs 3 MP to use.

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2[]

Acting the same as in the first Monsters game, it is learned by Terrordactyls, Ursa majors, Octophants, Crayzees, Marrow escapees, Dierantulas, and HoodSquids at level 20, as well as Killing machines, Skeleton swordsmen, Gripevines, Orochi, Marquis de Léon, Estark, Psaro the Manslayer, and Jamirus once again, costing 3 MP to use once again.

Torneko: The Last Hope[]

Appearing as a sword skill, it can be learned by various swords that Torneko wields after attacking while moving at double speed, randomly striking the enemy in front of him 1~3 times and costs 6 Hunger.

Young Yangus and the Mysterious Dungeon[]

Learned by Hunter mechs and Icikillers, it acts the same as in previous appearances once again, though each attack has the same strength as a normal attack.

Dragon Quest of the Stars[]

Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it appears as a skill for the Copper sword, Bronze sword, Rapier, Bamboo lance, Bronze lance, Long spear, Copper claws, Bronze claws, Cat's claw, Wrapped-up mummyhands, Bronze knife, Wooden fan, Feather fan, War fan, Playing cards fan, Sapling bow, Gnarled bow, and Longbow weapons.

Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi![]

Appear as the primary skill for Hunter mechs, Hargonauts, Tentaculars, Hellions, Feralbeasts, Liege lizards, Aragune, and the Slayer of the Sands, it deals medium damage with physical attacks in an X-shaped range.
