Clockwork cuckoo

Clockwork cuckoo is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series.

Characteristics[]

The monster is a mechanical starling roughly the size of a human head that behaves much as its living counterpart. Its metal casing is a pale egg white with blue accents for the plumage and gold for the legs. They are the successful result of a mad scientist's experiment, and can remain airborne even when launching their feathers as razor-sharp projectiles.
