Coagulant is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest III[]

Coagulants are available for 500 gold coins in the original NES Version, and 310 gold in all subsequent versions. The powder Confuses one enemy for 6~8 turns, and is effective against Metal slimes around 50% of the time. Dragon Quest IX[]

It paralyses a single enemy, although it may not always succeed. It is found just outside Stornway and can be bought in Batsureg, Wormwood Creek, and Upover for 90 gold coins.
