Trivia[]
- It is seemingly based on a weaker version of Vearn's technique from Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai: Demonic Guard of Heaven and Earth (天地魔闘の構え).
- The original technique has a longer name and includes more moves in its counter attack. The original attack also became a meme in Japan.
- The skill was originally going to debut in Dragon Quest VIII, having a MP cost of 3, but went unused.
