Crosscutter Throw is a recurring ability in the Dragon Quest series.

Description[]

Hits the first enemy again after going through all the others.

Appearances[]

Dragon Quest VIII[]

Making its debut, the Hero can learn this skill after investing 6 skill points into the Boomerang skill tree. It costs 2 MP to use and is affected by his tension, dealing earth attribute damage to all enemies and then the first once again. Morrie also learns this skill the same way in the 3DS remake.

Dragon Quest IX[]

Learned with 3 skill points invested into the Boomerang skill tree, it acts the same as in VIII, minus the earth attribute damage and once again costs 2 MP to use.

Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]

Reappearing from Battle Road II onwards, it is used by Jum 'n' Boe when they are paired up with the player in the Warrior vocation, replacing their Rotation Attack and attack by spinning like a top to damage all enemies.

Dragon Quest Heroes II[]

Already learned by Maribel when she joins the party, it costs 4 MP to use, and can be moved to some extent.
