The cypress stick has an Attack bonus of +2. It can be equipped by all classes. The King of Aliahan gives one to the hero at the beginning of his quest.
Dragon Quest IV[]
The cypress stick has an attack bonus of +2. Its used by Borya and is sold in chapter 3 as a "Steel Broadsword" for 10 gold as Steel Broadsword is good this shop may scam you.
Dragon Quest V[]
The cypress stick has an Attack bonus of +2. The Hero begins his journey with this weapon.
Dragon Quest VI[]
The cypress stick has an Attack bonus of +2. It can be equipped by Ashlynn, Carver, Milly, and Nevan. It can be bought for 10 gold and sold for 7.
Dragon Quest VII[]
The cypress stick has an Attack bonus of +2. It can be equipped by all characters. When equipped by Ruff, it actually decreases his attack by 1. In the 3DS version, it is initially equipped by Kiefer.
