Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai[]
A sword crafted by Lon Beruk to be used as a weapon and a armour. Given to Hyunckel by Mystvearn. As long as the blade is whole, it will repair itself. When the armor is equipped, the user cannot be affected by magic, except lightning.
When Dai faces Baran, he uses and destroy this sword by using Avan Strash with his Draconic Aura. Now unrepairable, Hyunckel retired the Dark Armour Blade in favor for its counterpart, the Dark Armour Spear.
It was made of the second strongest material, although vastly inferior to orichalcum.

- It is stated to be heavier and have better defence than the Dark Armor Spear, which according to attributes from filler pages has a +81 defence bonus.
- Although named Dark Armour Blade in the story mode of A Hero's Bond, it is translated as Shadow Armour Blade in the Treasure Hunt.
