Dark sabrecub is a recurring monster in the Dragon Quest series. It is the juvenile form of the dark sabrecat monster species.

The dark sabrecub is a cat-like monster that looks a lot like the great sabrecub, but it has black fur. Other than their lacking stature, the only thing missing from the cubs that the adults have are their developed, saber-like fangs.
