Deals 50% more damage to undead monsters.
Appearances[]
Dragon Quest IX[]
Making its debut, it is learned by investing 22 skill points into the Staff skill tree and costs 0 MP to use.
Dragon Quest X[]
Acting the same as in IX, it is learned the same way and by investing 7 skill points into a recruited Mischievous mole's Staff skill tree, but costs 1 MP to use. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned by investing 3 skill points into the Hero and Mjoll's Staff skill trees and costs 2 MP to use once again.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Learned by investing 7 skill points into Serena and Jade's Spears Character Builder, it acts the same as in previous appearances and costs 2 MP to use. It can also be used alongside the Luminary's Cutting Edge skill for the Blight of the Living Dead Pep Power.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Acting differently from its main series appearances, it is learned by Nelgel when he is reincarnated from his Netherfiend form into his usual Netherlord appearance, dealing random slash damage to all enemies 5 times, while instantly killing them. It costs 40 MP for the Netherlord to use.
Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Learned by investing 6 skill points into Doric, he creates a magic circle that pulls in surrounding enemies before blasting them away and costs 10 MP for the King of Arba to use, though it does not collect dropped items. In the sequel, it is learned by reaching Level 4 of Lazarel and Teresa's Staff Proficiency in the Martial Artist, Priest and Sage vocations, as well as investing 8 skill points into Doric. Though its attack has been nerfed, its suction power has increased and can now collect dropped items, costing 10 MP to use once again.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[]
Acting the same as in its main series appearances, it can be equipped to any staff weapon.
