The demon barber is a monster who appears in the 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII.

The demon barber, for all intents and purposes, is a recolour of a smashin' crab with enhanced attributes. In place of the pincer, however, is a pair of pruning shears, while the hand wields a comb.

Etymology[]
Possibly a reference to the character Sweeney Todd, one of whose monikers was "The Demon Barber of Fleet Street". This character originated in penny dreadfuls of the Victorian United Kingdom, and has been adapted to other books, television, stage, and film.
