The Demonic Guard of Heaven and Earth is an ability in Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai and the ultimate technique of Dark King Vearn.

The Demonic Guard of Heaven and Earth (also spelled Tenchimatou, Tenchi Matou and Ten-Chi-Ma-To) is a stance and the ultimate skill of Vearn in his younger form. This motionless stance allows him to use three different techniques at the same time, in order to counter up to three enemy attacks.

These Techniques are:

Phoenix Wing (フェニックスウイング): A technique that works against any spells. Vearn moves his right hand to block/deflect spells. It also works against the Giga Strash. It corresponds to the defense "Chi" (Earth).
Calamity End (カラミティエンド): The ultimate hand cut technique. Vearn chops with his left hand, cutting through armor in the process. It corresponds to the offense "Ten" (Heaven)
Kaiser Phoenix (カイザーフェニックス): Special Kafrizz attack spell. Vearn gathers fire in his right hand before waving it, causing the flames to shoot out in the form of a Phoenix. It is the "Ma" (Demon) of the technique as it symbolizes Magic.

However, the stance isn't without drawbacks. After using the stance, Vearn is left open for an instant - something that doesn't happen when he uses each technique individually. Additionally, as pointed out by the heroes during the final battle, Tenchimatou is a counter-attack that uses the flow of the enemy's attack to the user's advantage, so Vearn cannot use it if he's not attacked.

In his aging body, Vearn wasn't able to do the full skill, only being able to do a Kaizer Phoenix and a physical attack.

Author notes state that this move was intentionally presented as the biggest obstacle to defeating Vearn in a straight fight specifically as a shoutout to the cheap attacks that final bosses usually have in videogames.
Counter Wait is a weaker version of this move, only allowing for one attack. Its name could be translated as the "Tenchi Stance"
This stance became a meme in Japan.
