The Desert Bazaar is a location in Dragon Quest IV. As a nomadic market, it can only be found in Chapter 2, when Alena, Kiryl, and Borya pass through; afterwards, it apparently moves on to parts unknown.
In the remake versions, it becomes the location of the Immigrant Town in Chapter 5. Furthermore it is revealed that once an ancient kindom named Pioniria was located on the same site.
Story[]
Alena and her companions first visit the bazaar after their trip to Vrenor. It is here that they are caught up to by a Zamoksvan soldier, who informs her that the Tsar has been stricken by a mysterious ailment and requests her immediate return to the castle.
After hearing she needs birdsong nectar to cure her father, Alena returns to the bazaar in search of it, learning from the traders that it can only be found in the nearby Birdsong Tower.
