Dieamends (AKA Russurocks, formerly called Stone of life and Life stone in early ports of Dragon Quest III) are special stones that will absorb death magic for the user. If a character it targeted by Whack or Thwack and possess this stone, it will take death spell and shatter.

Dragon Quest III[]
The Dieamend can be found in the following locations:
- Samanao (GBC Version)
- Cave Southwest of Samanao (NES Version)
- Charlock Castle
- Treasures n' Trapdoors in Kol (GBC Version)
They are also sold in an item shop in the Jipang well (GBC Version only) for 800 gold coins. They couldn't be sold in the NES Version, but can be sold in the remakes for 600 gold coins.

Dragon Quest V[]
Dieamends can be purchased from late game shops for 300 gold apiece.
Dragon Quest VII[]
They can be bought in both past and present versions of Al-Balad as well as the slum version of The Haven for 800 gold coins, and sold for 400 gold coins. Enemies such as the Grinade, Rockbomb, and Stone golem drop them.
Dragon Quest IX[]
Named Resurrock, they can be found in Djust Desert and Khaalag Coast, the sell price being 225 gold apiece. It is also an alchemy ingredient needed to make the Flame shields, Ice shields, Holy talismans, and Life rings, while more can be obtained from blue treasure chests in Grottoes, being dropped normally by Handsome crabs, Stone guardians, and Grrrgoyles, as well as rare drops from Stone golems, Living statues, and Sculpture vultures, and clearing the sidequest Well Forgetful in the Urdus Marshland.
Dragon Quest X[]
Appearing as a story item, 3 of them are given to the Hero by Charcoal via a letter, which instructs them to throw one into the Golden Cauldron to prevent them from being executed via the Golden Penalty, being done after Badind's execution and summons a Gold golem from the cauldron.
Dragon Quest XI[]
Dieamends can be found in the Zwaardsrust Region, Mount Pang Lai and The Hotto Steppe Northern Whale Way Station. It can be dropped by Handsome crab, Living statue, Stone guardian, Bomboulder. It is used by several Fun-Size Forge recipies such as Springheal boots and Life bracer.
Dragon Quest Treasures[]
The Dieamend can be found in The Hinterquarters and bought at base. It can be made into the Omniheal Pellet and the Multiheal Pellet.
