Dragon Quest Wiki

The djinn genie (Vigilantern in the 3DS version) is an available monster vocation in the game Dragon Quest VII.

The djinn genie is a monster with the resemblance of the common notion of the genie, who rides a pink cloud. This monster vocation offers a sharp increase in strength but a slight drop in guard and appearance.

In order to become a djinn genie, a character must first master the Malevolantern and barbatos vocations. A player can also obtain a djinn genie heart from battling a djinn genie in the Cave to Another World. However, the only way a player can fight them is by allowing a vigilantern to summon a djinn genie.
