The dragon slayer is a recurring weapon in the Dragon Quest series. It is a more powerful version of the dragonsbane.

The dragon slayer has an attack bonus of +83 and deals 60% more damage to monsters of the dragon family. It can only be made through alchemy.
As part of the game of hide-and-seek of the armor shop merchant of Farebury, the note of the Dragon slayer Recipe, the last of his recipe notes, will appear at Savella Cathedral, behind the transport chamber that leads to the Lord High Priest's Residence, after the appearance of the Black Citadel in the sky.
