Echo flute

The echo flute (formerly Echoing Flute) is a recurring item in the Dragon Quest series. Its main function is to emit a signal when a seal or orb is nearby.

The Echo flute is given to The Hero by a man in Rippleport after he retrieves the Sunken treasure.

It's found in one of four chests after falling into the center pit, on the top floor of The Tower of Arp.

The flute is given by Empyrea after the events in Empycchu. It is used to locate the orbs left behind by the remains of the Seven Sages.
