Eldona is major character in Dragon Quest X, and the second-born daughter of the Goddess Luciana.

Biography[]
Eldona is one of the benevolent patron deities of Astoltia, protecting the Elven race she created, and is the creator of the Yggdrasil tree, as well the divine beast Amakamushika. She has lost most of her power after losing her physical body in the battle against the corrupted Nadraga, and as such, can no longer effectively protect Astoltia as she used to by the present time.
When the current guardian of Yggdrasil, Miko Himea, had just managed to make the Yggdrasil flower bloom, and had thusly fullfilled her role, passing away peacefully, Eldona herself possessed the body of her current god vessel, Fura, and interjected. Eldona, having sensed that the Yggdrasil flower would have played a very important role in the near future, decided to delay Himea's passing by just a bit more, entrusting its protection to her; then, Eldona's voice and connection with Fura faded away before she could continue her prophecy.
