The elegiac crablet is a boss monster who appears in Dragon Quest X. This crustacean custodian carries the lyrics of the Song of the Moment on its back, an ancient sealing song previously used to contain the evil Tyrant Basagrande.

This monster resembles a crabid of colossal proportions, mostly grey but with a beige belly, that carries a massive stone monument on its back. The monument has ancient writings carved and vegetation growing on it.
