Estark's Crypt is is a location in Dragon Quest IV where, Estark, the Lord of the Underworld, has been sealed away beneath Mamon Mine. Estark's Crypt is accidentally discovered by the miners of Mamon. The gas canister is guarded here, which is needed to complete the hot air balloon.
Story[]
A thousand years before the event of Dragon Quest IV, after being defeated, Estark, the Lord of the Underworld, was sealed away here by the Zenith Dragon. At least half way through the game, the miners of Mamon accidentally uncover the tomb and awaken him, driving all demons wild with the return of their lord. Fortunately, the Hero and their party head into the crypt and defeat Estark, who has not fully awakened.
