Eugene Poole is a doctor featured in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2. The hero encounters a ghost by the name of Mynos the Elder who bears a striking resemblance to the doctor. After the game is beaten, Eugene can be battled. He has four forms of the Incarnus at his disposal.

Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2[]
In the first half of the game, Eugene runs into some trouble at the Arena with three mischievous moles: Duke, Miles and Billie. They start to make off with him until the Hero stops them.
Etymology[]
A possible play on "gene pool", the theoretical collection of genetic material from which all life on Earth is said to be derived.
The name Eugene, colloquially truncated to Gene, comes from Ancient Greek meaning "good birth".
