Family Classic Concert: Dragon Quest in Concert (ファミリー・クラッシック・コンサート ドラゴンクエスト・イン・コンサート), is a CD album of live concert hall recordings of arranged melodies from Dragon Quest and Dragon Quest II as well as from Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns' The Carnival of the Animals (Le carnaval des animaux). The Dragon Quest melodies were composed by Koichi Sugiyama, who also arranged all themes in the album while the Tokyo Strings Ensemble performed them.
The album was released on 21 October 1987 by Apollon Music Industrial Corporation, catalog number BY30-5173 and JAN 4988015011722, along with an LP record version, catalog number AY25-10 and JAN 4988015011883, and a cassette tape one, catalog number KSF-1499 and JAN 4988015010879. While the cassette version is the same as the CD one, the LP version does not contain any recording from Le carnaval des animaux.
