Plain clothes (also clothes or cloth armor) are a recurring body armour in the Dragon Quest series. Being a simple tunic capable of minimal defence, they are usually cheap or otherwise easy to acquire, and are one of few armours that are nearly universally equipped by party members regardless of gender or active vocation.
