Manga differences[]
- Popp does not notice the weird belt to be cursed equipment right away. Instead, a new scene with a Bengarna customer wanting to buy it introduces this plot point.
- Leona is the one who suggests to go to Bengarna instead of Popp when Dai shows his damaged sword
- Amy hears Apollo and Marin's request
- Popp complains to Leona after she criticises him to Dai
- Narration is given to Leona
- Popp talks about his family weapon shop when going inside the Department Store instead of the armour floor
- Clothes and Armours are on the 4th floor instead of the 5th and weapons are on the 5th instead of the 4th. The rest of the signs is completed, including the basement, although it was hidden by speech bubbles.
- Added scenes with mentions of herb, seed, food, a mini medal and Horse manure
- The merchant selling Blockhead Basher is in the department store instead of Papnica
- Dai's new knight armour is not named
- Instead of trying on a Dancer's costume, Leona tries an Angel leotard, a silk apron, a merchant female outfit, a gadabout male outfit and a Cat suit. Stating the last one to have high defence.
- Dai's attack against the hydra is stated to be a Wave Slash
Errors[]
- At the entrance, the basement is indicated "BF" but once there it is indicated "B1"
- The Slime Tapioca actually refers to a "Bubble Tea", which are called Tapioca Juice in Japan
- The subtitles use the US spelling "defense" instead of the UK "defence" one
Trivia[]
The foods in the basement, such as the blue and purple colored dumplings in the slime bun stand, are references to the real life Dragon Quest café. The cafe is also referenced by the food in Dragon Quest of the Stars.
