Only appearing in the remakes of this game, it is used by Dancing Flames, Archdemons, Green Dragons, and Hargon, hitting for 34~46 damage.
Dragon Quest III Remakes[]
Appearing in the remakes of the game, it is used by Magmalices, Ethereal serpents, Leger-de-men, Chimaeras, Green dragons, and Orochi in battle, dealing 30-40 damage to all enemies. In the game's 2D-HD Remake, it is learned by Monster Wranglers at level 23, costing 5 MP to use, and is also used by Wyrtles, Wyrtoises, Infernal serpents, and Hydras in battle.
Dragon Quest V[]
Making its debut, it is learned by recruited Flamethrowers and Drag-goofs at level 8, recruited Hellions and Small fries at level 15, recruited Wax murderers at level 20, and already learned by recruited Great dragons and Archdemons when they join the party. It costs 0 MP to use, and is used by Flamethrowers, Firebirds, Hyperpyrexions, Black dragons, Hybirds, Strongylokrotaphuses, the Magmen, and Chimaera pawn in battle.
Dragon Quest VI[]
Acting the same as in V, it is already known by Lizzie upon joining the party, while other characters can obtain this technique by advancing to rank 3 of the Dragon vocation or rank 6 of the Monster Master vocation. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Scorching men, Gasbagons, Axesauruses, Noble gasbagons, Sea fortresses, Finned fatales, Murdaw, Jamirus, and General Demon-at-arms in battle.
Dragon Quest VII[]
Acting the same as in its last 2 appearances, it can be learned by reaching rank 5 (6 in the PS1 version) of the Monster Masher vocation, rank 8 of the Chimaera monster vocation, rank 3 of the Rashaverak monster vocation, and rank 6 of the Drake slime monster vocation. It costs 0 MP to use once again, and is also used by Hocus chimaeras, Frylings, Dragon slimes, Blistering bloaters, Moosifers, Gold frylings, Dragsters, Rashaveraks, Terrorhawks, Hexicons, Hell hogs, Blazing wingwyrms, Wide-load weighverns, Metal heavies, Sizzards, Small fries, Frizzards, Metal dragon slimes, Elepuses, Stripes, Hocus porcuses in Nottagen and the Pillar of Sulkk, and Orgon in battle.
Dragon Quest VIII[]
Munchie will spew flame breath after eating spicy cheese, damaging all enemies in battle. It is also used by Jargons, Chimaeras, Dragonthorns, Spitniks, Puppet masters, Hacksauruses, Dancing flames, Abyss divers, and Khalamari, as well as Hocus Chimaeras once again.
Dragon Quest IX[]
An enemy only-skill, it is used by Axolhotls, Exploads, Wyrtles, Drakularges, Seasaurs, Hell niñoes, Bagmas, Magmalices, Red dragons, Prism peacocks, Barbatoses, Grand Lizzier, and Greygnarl, as well as Chimaeras, Hocus Chimaeras, Moosifers, and Terrorhawks once again.
Dragon Quest X[]
Used by Gremlins, Red puddings, Pickeerers, Salamander fries, Little wyverns, Duke Sigras, and Ruggy, as well as Chimaeras, Small Fries, and Dancing Flames once again in battle. It can also be learned by investing 3 skill points into a recruited Chimaera's Chimaera Flapping skill tree, and costs 4 MP to use.
Dragon Quest XI[]
An enemy only skill for the first time since IX, it is used by Overtoads, Face invaders, Dragurns, Ham shamwitches, and Sham hatwitches gone Vicious, as well as Green Dragons, Chimaeras gone Vicious, Jargons, and Firebirds once again.
Dragon Warrior Monsters[]
Called BlazeAir in this game, it is an upgraded form of FireAir. FireAir will grow into BlazeAir when the monster reaches level 10 with at least 70 HP. BlazeAir will grow into Scorching when the monster reaches level 20 with 140 HP.
Dragon Warrior Monsters 2[]
The requirements to learn and upgrade BlazeAir are unchanged.

Known as Searing Breath in this entry, it is learned by Salamander fries at level 27, Green dragons at level 26, Dragurns at level 36, Grillerpillars and Flamethrowers at level 18, Jargons at level 20, and already learned by Hybirds when they are recruited, it deals Frizz-type breath damage to all enemies in a straight line and costs 27 MP to use. A scroll for this skill can also be obtained after clearing Stage 7 of the DQ I Battle Road during the DQ I event and for 1,500 Chocolate Truffles during the Valentine's Day event.
