Biography[]
When the original desert nomads at long last, found an old stone castle amidst a fertile land, they decided to settle in the region, ending their long journey. However, inside the castle, a black spear was found, as well as a tablet saying "Do not dwell here", but the advice was not heeded. Soon the meaning of the stone tablet became clear, because 100 years after its founding, the new kingdom of Amalark became plagued by the Fluzula, a breed of almost invincible monsters, that frequently appeared to attack its civilians to consume one or two of them before disappearing to parts unknown. With no other place to go, the people of Amalark were forced to accept this danger as an inevitability. Eventually, they even devoured the mother of the current king, Rizk, who sacrificed herself to protect her son.
The seemingly only way destroy them was the ancient and powerful black spear; over the course of history, the black spear was attempted to be replicated multiple times by Amalark's scholars, but to no avail. Now entrusted to the best knight of the kingdom, Ilseem, the spear continued to dutifully destroy Fluzulas; but even with the drastic decrease in deaths in the past 20 years thanks to Ilseem's dedication to the cause, the common practice of the guards to willingly sacrifice their lives to the Fluzula in order ensure the survival of the innocent civillians was still a harsh reality.
However, as it turned out, it wasn't the black spear itself that the Fluzula were vulnerable to, but it was instead the strong Power of Creation residing within. With this new information, delivered to the Astoltian exploration team by the mysterious Raki, Jiganf was finally able to harm the Fluzula, having realized the similarities between the Power of Creation and a Martial Artist's internal Chi. Unfortunately, Raki revealed another piece of information: the usual modus operandi of the Fluzula involved letting a town grow relatively undisturbed for centuries, and only then, once the population had grown enough, the Fluzula would attack it en mass, wiping out the entire settlement in a single attack. Furthermore, now feeling threatened by Jiganf and the Hero's newfound ability to harm them, the Fluzula decided to attack Amalark now, invading alongside their alpha, the huge Albino fluzula. Later, they are fought as normal enemies in Hadin Underground Cave and were revealed to be minions of Jia Garnet, a surviving member of the Jia Kut Clan who created them to steal Power of Creation from Amalark's citizens so he recover from being afflicted with the Curse of Unmaking.
