Fortress of Fear

The Fortress of Fear is a location in Dragon Quest XI. It serves as the final dungeon of the main story.

Fashioned from the remnants of Yggdrasil after the Fall, the Fortress occupies the skies where the World Tree once stood. It is from here that Mordegon declares his intent to rule over Erdrea, sending forth six monsters that would draw power from each coloured orb: the Spectral Sentinels.
