Biography[]

Formerly a wise king alongside his younger twin brother Unos, He and his twin brother used to be best friends, but he desired more power and corrupted the Cup of Kings with darkness, starting the war while summoning the Dreadbolt to destroy his own world, causing its inhabitants to never go on to the afterlife. Despite overwhelming odds, Unos sealed his brother and made constant trips to Dunisia to check up on the seal before his death. However, Fractos was later reborn as a Demon while his clan was forced to bear his mark as punishment for his dark desires. Fractos later murders the King of Dunisia while posing as the King of Harba via the Morph spell and later abducts some monsters from Wildwood, while telling the Queen of Ingenia that the kingdoms of Dunisia and Harba would later attack her after they have put aside their differences and giving the Sword of Discord to the King of Al-Khazam, who uses it to secure the allegiances of the Kings of Klor and Kadava through force. He is mentioned various times throughout the story while he makes his first physical appearance as the High King's "twin brother" attacking Accordia with an army of monsters. Later, after Lazarel, Teresa, Desdemona, Cesar, and their allies storm the Pinnacle of Peace he fights alongside the High King and later kills him after losing the fight. When Kiryl objects to him killing the High King since he is his own flesh and blood, Fractos retorts that his own brother Unos died a 1,000 years ago and reveals his true appearance. He later explains why he impersonated the High King's twin brother, to corrupt the purpose of the prophecy and corrupt the Cup of Kings once again just like 1,000 years ago. Fractos later boasts that with the Cup of Kings back in darkness, he will take on a being more powerful than the gods themselves. When Desdemona attacks him, Fractos retaliates and breaks her bracelet, revealing the mark his clan was forced to show around and that she is his descendant, thus she should show respect, but she refuses, causing him to disown her as a family member. Cesar later attacks him and praises him for his temper, just like his father. When the new king of Dusina angrily demands why, he confessed that he murdered the King of Dusina as the King of Harba, told the semi real prophecy of Harba and Dusina uniting to take down Ingenia as well as its Queen, and gave the Sword of Discord to the King of Al-Khazam, later swatting Cesar aside after his confession. He later destroys the Pinnacle of Peace with the Dreadbolt, though his enemies escape with the help of Empyrea. When they later reach his throne room in the Black Manse, he shows himself and acts surprised that they survived the destruction of that eyesore of a tower, wondering whether he should praise their tenacity or their worthiness to fight him. After Jessica tells him he wouldn't be amused for long, and Carver shouts he should have finished them while he still had the chance, Fractos retorts that Humans are all the same, bearing their teeth and growling, but must submit to their master like dogs, meaning him. He later fights the Twins and their allies, wondering something about their power. After he is defeated, he brags that they barely started and made a scratch on him, firing a Zam spell to destroy his enemies, though a barrier of light protects Lazarel and Teresa from it, causing him to realize that he found Unos's elusive offspring at last and he has to merely pluck their heads to complete his revenge against him. He puts the Cup of Kings into his body and transforms into a demonic beast with four legs, a tail and a pair of wings, scaring Maya. Despite his impressive array of abilities, he is later defeated in a harrowing fight and is finished off with a Giga Crosscut from Lazarel and Teresa, completely destroying him and ending his reign of terror while the restored light in the Cup of Kings removes the mark from Desdemona.
