Dragon Quest IX[]
Making its debut, it is learned by investing 55 skill points into the Armamentalist's Fource skill tree and applies both the earth & dark elements to a party member's attacks, while consequently applying them 50% resistance to earth & dark attacks. It costs 4 MP to use, and if the user holds an 'Armamentalist's Album', the effects are automatically applied to the entire party.
Dragon Quest X[]
Learned by investing 52 skill points into the Armamentalist's Fource skill tree, it acts the same as in IX, and now costs 2 MP to use. It is also used by Phantom fencers, Charmours, Dark candles, Mandrake marshals, Macelies, the Majin Spindle, and Destructive Nightmares in battle. In the Offline version of the game, it is learned at level 27 by the Hero in the Armamentalist vocation and by investing 3 skill points into Hussar's Cool skill tree.
