Game Boy Color is a portable video game system, the successor of the original Game Boy system, and the predecessor of the Game Boy Advance. It is notable for being the first handheld to feature a full 15 bit colour palette, of which up to 56 colours could be displayed simultaneously.

Aside from the system-exclusive Dragon Quest III, Game Boy Color games are playable using the Super Game Boy pass-through adapter for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. All games are also playable with the Nintendo GameCube and the Game Boy Player attachment:
