Biography[]
A Wetling member of the Armamentalists, he encountered the Hero during the Pirate sidequests, and was sent to track down and arrest the cruel Captain Harbald and his crew, although he also had a personal grudge against the pirate captain due to him being seemingly responsible for his brother Pido demise, which extended to all pirate kind in general, not even believing in the good reputation of the Madlock pirates.
Later, he leaked the whereabouts of the Harbald pirates to the Madlock pirates, knowing he wouldn't be able to take them on his own thusly allying with the Hero, who used the intel gathered by the Armamentalists to find them. Taking advantage of Gedham and the Hero arriving to the lair, Frenzy betrayed Captain Harbald, taking the map for herself. After a battle, Harbald and his pirates were taken into custody by Gedham, while Frenzy, now with the complete map, returned to Captain Madlock.
Later Gedham, wanting to also capture the Madlock pirates, used Harbald as a guide to reach the treasure's location in exchange for freedom, with Gedham obtaining the Sea God's Treasure in his hand. Just then, Harbald tried to double cross him, but Gedham dodged. However, his lust for revenge against pirates activated the artifact's dark power, as it was a shard of the power of Megoa, the Dark Deity of Grudges created by Jagonuba, which slains Harbald. Gedham, now into the artifact's thrall, transforms into a Merderer-like monster, and after summoning two Sea Servants, attacks Captain Madlock, then sets his sights on the Hero, beginning a boss fight. He loses, but the Sea God's Treasure revivies him and he attempts to attack the Hero, Madlock and his crew again, even deflecting an attack from Frenzy, but a cannonball from Madlock's cannon hits his chest, causing the cursed artifact to fly out of him and turn him back into a Wetling. After explaining from where his hatred for pirates stemmed from, Captain Madlock revealed to him that Pido was alive and well, having been found by them and joining their ranks in gratitude. Reuniting with his brother after so long, the grateful Gedham decided to return to Verinard and report to Queen Diore, in order to be tried for the crime of slaying Harbald. The sentence was lenient, and Gedham is last seen enjoying a drink with Pido.
