Giga Crosscut is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Description

Damages all enemies with an X-shaped lightning-infused slash.

Appearances

Dragon Quest X

Making its main series debut, it is used by Goresby-Purrvis when his HP reaches 50%, dealing 390-420 Zap damage to all enemies in range. (450-480 when damage is increased)

Dragon Warrior Monsters 2

Making its debut, it is used when 2 Gigaslashes are used at the same time, dealing 500 to 700 damage to all enemies.

Dragon Quest Heroes and Dragon Quest Heroes II

While not a usable skill, it is the finishing blow for Luceus and Aurora, who combine their Gigaslash and Gigagash to finish off Shadroth. In the sequel, it is used by Lazarel and Teresa to finish off Fractos.

Dragon Quest Tact

Appearing as Erdrick's Coup de Grâce, it is learned by him at level 82 and deals 300% physical Zap damage to all enemies in both orange and purple areas, with enemies in overlapping purple and orange squares receiving damage twice. It costs 120 MP for the savior of Alefgard to use, while it takes 3 turns for it to be available, with upgrades reducing MP cost and increasing damage.
