Gigaflash is a recurring spell in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest VIII[]
Making its debut, it is used by Sea dragons, the Vermillion Dragon, and the Golden Dragon to attack all enemies, while potentially dazzling them. The first monster is also needed to give the Magic Mirror its light to penetrate the barrier at the Dark Ruins.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Series[]
Reappearing from the first Battle Road onwards, it is the red button technique of the Sculptrice and the Sea dragon, damaging and potentially dazzling enemies just like in VIII, but is now a light spell. It is also cast by the player in the Sage vocation when they are teamed up with a Bone baron, replacing its Crest Shine, and/or Feralball to replace its Strange Beam and the player in the Priest vocation alongside a Grudgerigar, replacing its Backfire skill. In addition, it is the main spell for the Bright staff and if used alongside the player in the Sage vocation, the Sea dragon's Gigaflash will become Crackle.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Super Light[]
Learned by Fractos Unfettered at level 5, it randomly deals Bang spell damage to all enemies 5 times, costing 68 MP for the brother of Unos to cast.
Dragon Quest of the Stars[]
Dragon Quest Heroes II[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is used by Fractos during the final battle, and is particularly troublesome during the Unfettered phase of the fight.
Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland SP[]
Acting the same as in previous appearances once again, it is learned by investing 50 skill points into the Oral Flash skill set and costs 64 MP to cast.
