Gold Rush is a recurring skill in the Dragon Quest series.

Dragon Quest VIII[]
Making its debut, it is learned when Yangus invests 92 skill points into his Club skill tree, replacing Penny Pincher and deals 25% more damage than a normal attack, while stealing an extra 20% of an enemy's gold and costs 2 MP to use. In the 3DS remake, it can steal extra gold if the skill defeats an enemy in battle.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road Victory[]
Reappearing as the 3rd skill for Gem jamborees when they're paired up with the player in the Sage vocation, it replaces the Gold Rush skill from the ninth game and either rains lots of gold coins or 3 gold coins on all enemies.
Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Scanner/Dragon Quest: Scan Battlers[]
Known as Shine and Rise in these games, it is used by Gold Golems to damage all enemies with a shine of bright light.
