Grand Zetannia is a location of the world of Astoltia in Dragon Quest X, located on the human continent of Rendacia. While its various landmarks can be quickly reached thanks to Zoomstones and the Mega Zoomstone, the past incarnation of the kingdom of 1000 years ago, visited during the Version 4 storyline, can be reached thanks to the Time-Trotter's Trinket.

Biography[]
One of the most ancient human kingdoms, the history behind the founding of its first incarnation, Grand Zedra, by the hand of the hero Ashlay, which should have been peaceful, was instead marked by bloodshed due to manipulations done by power hungry individuals, particularly Ashlay's wife Daffia.
At some point, centuries later, the old kingdom effectively perished due to the untimely death of its young prince and hero, Azir, and shortly after, of its queen, struck by lightning while she was executing Leone; furthermore, the demonic forces of the Great Demon King Varzad, leaderless but still intact, were marching towards the people. Admist the chaos, a new kingdom had to be founded, so, Azir's first cousin took charge, leaded the troops against the Demons, and won the battle, renaming this reborn kingdom Grand Zetannia. This new royal lineage proceeded, eventually giving birth to new heroes, like Alvin, and in the present day, Anlucia. It is the location where she takes guard and is the local princess there.
