Making its debut, it is a trait for Gigantes, Putrefidos, Hades condors, Lethal armours, Bagworms, Dragon riders, Night clubbers, Slime knights, Metal slime knights, Deadly dodos, Stainless scrappers, Puppeteers, Trigertaurs, Gem slimes, Cyber slimes, RotRavens, Dark slimes, Dark slime knights, Ghost Ship, Realm of the Mighty, Khalamari, Goresby-Purrvis, Excalipurr, Psaro the Manslayer, both forms of King Godwyn, Aquarion, Taurix, Sebastian, Red Ninja Slime, Yellow Ninja Slime, Blue Ninja Slime, Pink Ninja Slime, Green Ninja Slime, Purple Ninja Slime, Brown Ninja Slime, Black Ninja Slime, Silver Ninja Slime, Gold Ninja Slime, and Malzar beast that allows the user to stay alive and attack even if their HP is at 0 until the end of the turn. It is also a trait for Steel sirens in the SP version of the game.

Appearing as a trait for the first time since the SP version of Dragon Quest Monsters 2, it is already learned by King Godwyn's True Form and curses all enemies when the Head of the House of Gitt is killed in battle, though it can only be activated once per battle.
