Griswold is a character in Dragon Quest Builders 2. The Builder encounters him in Malhalla.
Appearance[]
He looks exactly like a Hargonaut.
Personality[]
Since he was from the Children of Hargon, he formerly despised building, but grew fond of it in the end. It is very evident that he likes plants, because he requested the Builder to build a creepy conservatory in order for him to keep his gardening hobby going while he’s on the ark.
Biography[]
He is met in Malhalla after the Builder saves Arisplotle. As the Builder and the other monsters arrive at some abandoned warehouse, Griswold said that he would kill the Builder, but out of his curiosity, he asked the Builder why he/she was in Malhalla. After the Builder told the specific reasons, Griswold felt sympathetic towards the Builder, and decided to kill the Builder after he/she finds his/her friend. On the way to Hargon’s Haven, one of Malroth’s monstrous looking arms struck the ground where Griswold was standing, which made him fall in a pit, causing his legs to get injured. He wanted to be left behind, but Gremville told Griswold that he will take take the lead, instead, and to take it nice, and slow. After the Builder built a bridge in order to get to Hargon’s Haven, another one of those arms struck the bridge, and Griswold, who was behind everyone else, fell out of Malhalla, and Arisplotle said that he was gone forever.
He is met again inside a mountain or hill after the Builder was instructed to find the rest of the Immortal Corps, and destroys part of the mountain or hill (If the player does not bother going around without destroying the mountain or hill) . After the builder found him, Griswold told the Builder that he cannot die again, because he is already dead, and he is also part of the Immortal Corps. He tags along with the Builder when going back to the ark, and joins in the building of the ark to escape Doom’s Day.
Abilities[]
During battles he does fight, but he doesn't have anything special asides from the fact that he uses a sword when fighting.
